The icy conditions are the third deadly threat in the mountains, which were ravaged first by fires, then flash floods late last year. While my snowshoe track continues from Saddle Junctions through to San Jacinto Peak via Wellman Divide, this may rapidly become obscured by additional light snowfall and/or drifting snow from strong winds.
